Mining operations require a large storage space to store expensive and bulky machinery, as well as a space in which to store both the minerals extracted and the waste generated. The high strength of our flexible tarpaulins will prevent the weather from deteriorating the minerals or leaking and spreading the waste.
The particularly massive characteristics of the machinery used in the extraction and movement of minerals make Abristhor MEGA the optimal solution for the sector. With a width of up to 30 metres without columns and a height of up to 15 metres, it can accommodate any mining crane and drill while heavy-duty vehicles operate without any problems.

Temporary shelters for your machinery
With a possible maximum width of 30 metres, Abristhor’s fabric buildings can house extremely large machinery. Their length can be adapted according to the conditions of the terrain near the site, so you can store a huge quantity of minerals and have a space for lorries to circulate for their transport. Circulate, manoeuvre, park or repair without being limited by the space or size of the machinery needed to extract, refine and transport the extracted minerals.
Fabric buildings for materials storage
Assemble, adapt, dismantle, move and modify according to the requirements of the site and the operation. Abristhor’s mobile fabric buildings will protect everything you store inside them. We offer you the possibility, upon request, of providing your demountable warehouse with a level of resistance that complies with the UNE EN 13031-1 and UNE EN 1993-1-1 standards to give your project an extra level of safety. Remember that no specific training or special tools are required to assemble and move prefabricated buildings.
Waste storage shelter
Compartmentalise the interior of your prefabricated building and store minerals and waste separately to treat each one individually, avoiding contamination and protecting the environment. Close the fronts of your prefabricated building with sliding doors or any other closure that best suits your project to better insulate it from the weather and prevent accidental spillage to the outside during storage.
Mining operations
The nature of mining operations means that projects have a limited lifespan, either because the mining licence expires or because there is no more ore to be mined. We have designed our prefabricated outdoor shelters with this eventuality in mind: their bolted galvanised steel skeleton can be erected, dismantled, moved on a truck and anchored on new firm ground, soft ground or concrete blocks.
The flexible cover will protect the machinery and minerals as if they were in a warehouse.
