Vic’s Osona Region Capital Dresses Up Once Again to Host the 2025 Mercat del Ram
The capital of the Osona region once again dresses up to welcome a new edition of the Mercat del Ram de Vic 2025. The most important fair for the primary sector in Catalonia will take place from today, Friday, April 11, until Sunday, April 13, 2025, right in the heart of Vic. Abristhor will be present at the Mercat del Ram, and we will be delighted to welcome you at stand number 22, located on Carrer dels Països Catalans.
This is the oldest primary sector market in the province of Barcelona, with origins dating back almost eight centuries. It laid the foundation for Catalonia’s agricultural activity as we know it today, and you can witness its workings by visiting Plaça dels Màrtirs in Vic. There, you’ll get to know how the fields, vegetable gardens, barns, animal pens, stables, and the market itself operate.
The Mercat del Ram de Vic is a major attraction, featuring 15 livestock companies and others, like Abristhor, that collaborate in supporting the sector’s activities. Additionally, there will be workshops, exhibitions, and educational activities to liven up the event. All this for just €4 for adults, €2 for reduced-price tickets, and free entry for children under 12.
